Job Description
The role of the News Assistant is to assist the News Manager in creating daily news content for The Morning Show. News Assistants will put together news podcasts and may have the opportunity to cover local stories at the discretion of the News Manager and Station Manager. They will write news blogs that will be posted on Radio Laurier’s website. News Assistants are also responsible for ensuring that all news content they produce is accurate and up to date. The time commitment for this position is approximately 2-5 hours a week. All applicants will be contacted via email for a short informal interview.
