Blueprint Volunteer

    Job Description

    A writer for Blueprint is able to contribute to the print and web editions of the magazine with regular written content. Writers are expected to show proficiency in their area of literary interest, be it prose, poetry, editorial writing or otherwise. Content is expected from the writer on a monthly basis. Writers are expected to meet strict deadlines and possess critical reading and writing abilities. Applications are available online.

    A photographer is able to contribute to the print and web editions of Blueprint with regular photographic content. Photographers are expected to understand the basic functions photography equipment, and be able to produce quality photographs for the magazine. Knowledge of image editing is a bonus. Content is expected from the photographer on a monthly basis, on strict deadlines. Applications are available online.

    An illustrator will work to provide the print and web editions of Blueprint with visual content. Illustrators from all backgrounds are welcome to apply, from cartoonists to fine artists. Content is expected from the illustrator on a monthly basis, on strict deadlines. Applications are available online.

    Interns will assist with staff in multiple areas of Blueprint depending on need, qualifications, and interest. Assisting with layouts, editing submissions, or running of events are only some of the tasks Interns may be part of.
