Started in 1926 as the College Cord, The Cord is an editorially independent newspaper hitting news stands every Wednesday. The paper prides itself on providing quality reporting about issues that matter to students.
Keep up-to-date with the Laurier campus and surrounding community through this weekly paper. The Cord also has daily news updates to its website, www.thecord.ca, along with photo galleries, blogs, interactive polls and entertainment reviews.
The Cord is produced by a team of over 70 volunteers and an editorial board of 15.

Blueprint is Laurier’s official arts, culture and political commentary publication. Editorially-independent and entirely student-run, Blueprint aims to be a forum for community engagement, discourse, and creativity.
Content is based around each issue’s theme, and can take the form of art, photography, poetry, prose, or criticism. Submissions are accepted on a freelance basis.
Blueprint is published seven times a year – six issues during the September to April school term, and once in the summer.

The Keystone is Laurier Waterloo’s annual yearbook. From Homecoming highlights to championship sports games to events on campus to grad photos, the Keystone marks a milestone in the lives of Laurier students.
The Keystone is available for purchase to students at the end of the year. It is also distributed free of charge to graduating students who have had their grad photos taken.

Radio Laurier is the official campus radio station of Wilfrid Laurier University and WLUSP’s newest department.
Though relaunched in January 2010, Radio Laurier has existed in other forms previously, joining WLUSP in May 2009 and began revamping its structure and programming to become a professional campus radio station.
Radio Laurier is a member of the National Campus and Community Radio Association (NCRA), a collective of over 70 stations across Canada.

Laurier Student Poll is a market research group focusing on student public opinion and consumer behaviour at Laurier.
Founded in late 2011, this group begins its research in January 2012 with the Student Union (WLUSU) presidential election. We survey students using in-person interviews, with questions customized to client needs. Using studies of approximately 300 to 600 respondents, we publish official findings reports for stakeholders and release additional analyses online.

The Sputnik is Laurier Brantford’s campus newspaper. The paper strives to cover news that matters to members of the Brantford community and provides a professional outlet for students to express their opinions and concerns.
From campus updates, to arts and entertainment coverage and international response, The Sputnik covers all issues affecting the Laurier community from the viewpoints of students.

The Carnegie is Laurier Brantford’s official yearbook. The yearbook offers a review of the year from the student’s point of view, encapsulating the experiences of the student body and is created by and for the individuals who lived them.
The Carnegie offers students a chance to chronicle the year that was through photography of events, parties and other memorable moments. The publication draws together the memories of one year on one campus for students to look back on.

The WLU’er and The Orbiter are Laurier’s official student day planners, for the Waterloo and Brantford campuses respectively. Provided free of charge to students, the planners are a great way to organize your days, and collect valuable campus information and contact information.
The Wingspan is a comprehensive guide to services, opportunities and organizations on campus. The publication is incorporated with the WLU’er student planner, where a visible section of the planner is dedicated exclusively to information on campus organizations.
