How do I book my sitting for grad photos?
Go to the grad photos page and click on the appropriate grad photo link. You must register using your e-mail address and password before you can book an appointment.
How do I cancel my grad photo appointment?
For Waterloo campus students, email the photographer at email@example.com to cancel your appointment. You must cancel 24 hours in advance, or you will be changed $10 at your next sitting. For Kitchener and Brantford campus, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will find the correct photographer for you to contact.
Where do I go to get my grad photos taken?
For Waterloo campus, grad photos are taken at 230 Regina St. N. For Kitchener students, photos are taken in rooms 204 and 205 in the Social Work Building (In January). For the Brantford campus, photos are taken on the 2nd Floor of the Student Centre in the Student Centre Board Room at 103 Darling Street.
What should I do if the available times don’t fit my schedule?
We will do everything we can to ensure that you have your photos taken in time to go into the yearbook. If there are less than two days available in the booking calendar and they do not work for you, please email email@example.com and we will try to make more days available.
What do I wear to my sitting?
You wear a white collared shirt, and a tie if you are male.
How do I pay?
You can pay by cheque, cash or credit card when you get to the sitting.
If I have my photos taken in January, will I be in the yearbook?
If you have your photos taken in January, you have missed the yearbook deadline and are therefore are not entitled to receive a yearbook. However, you will still be on your class composite.
Can I have retakes?
Retakes are done once in January. In order to get retakes, you must return your entire proof package to the photographer. Note that your photo from the first sitting will be used in the yearbook and on the composite.
What if I don’t want to be on the class composite/yearbook? Do I get a refund on the price?
No. The $50.00 charge is for your sitting fee, the photographer’s time, and hard copy proofs that will be delivered to you. Student Publications provides you with a class composite and Keystone yearbook free of charge.
Where and when do I pick yearbooks up?
Yearbooks will be available for pick up in the Concourse in March. Yearbooks and class composites will be available for pick up at spring and fall convocations. If you will not be on campus in March and not attending your convocation, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org and arrange to have these shipped to you. Note you will have to pay for shipping and handling.
Why haven’t I received my proofs yet?
Your proofs are usually mailed out 2-3 weeks after your photographs are taken and are mailed to the address that you provided on the form you filled out at the sitting. If you have changed your mailing address, or want to make sure your information is correct please email Janet at Lifetouch Studio at email@example.com to make sure they have the correct information on file.
Will I still get a yearbook if I didn’t order photos from my proofs?
Yes. Even if you did not order grad photos from the proofs that were mailed to you, you are still entitled to receive a yearbook and composite that can be picked up at your convocation. Refer above to how you can have it shipped to you.
