WLUSP History
December 29th, 1970
The Waterloo Lutheran University Student Board of Publications is incorporated.
March 2, 1976
The organization changes its name to Wilfrid Laurier University Student Publications (WLUSP).
February 8th, 2001
As per the results of a referendum, WLUSP is given permission to collect its membership fees directly. This effectively grants WLUSP and its publications editorial and financial independence.
May 2004

In order to expand the 24 Hour Lounge, WLUSU declines to renew the lease on WLUSP’s former office space on the third floor of the FNCC; WLUSP moves into the basement of MacDonald House. Though the offices are originally intended to be temporary, the space would house WLUSP for the next seven years.
February 4th, 2009
In response to increased fees and declining advertising revenue, a referendum is passed to increase WLUSP’s student fee.
August 2011
WLUSP moves into its current office, located at 202 Regina Street.
